THANK YOU! … DOMO ARIGATO! … GRACIAS! … СПАСИБО!
The 2024 High Caliber Denver was a huge success!
Bigger and better this year.
We are grateful for all the support we have received. Athletes from around the USA put on spectacular matches on all 6 tatami. The tournament attracted almost 300 participants from 13 states, all levels from first-timers to Elite world-class athletes, including 17 USA Team members.
The world’s best referees ensured fair judging, the safety of athletes, and an overall great experience. We are beyond grateful to all 46 judges and referees officiating at the High Caliber Denver tournament this year. Special gratitude to the WKF and PKF referees most of whom traveled to Colorado from other states: Chief Referee Fariba Madani, Cyrus Madani, Jorge Caro, Julius Parniczky, Senthil Thiyagarajan, Dejan Miloshevski, Jay Farrell, Jony Martinez, Jesus Costa, Henry Barnabei, Francisco Gomez, Jorge Viera, Sergei Kushnir and Jordan Fox.
We had the pleasure of having USA National Coaches Brody Burns, John Limcaco, Javier Mantilla, and their awesome students.
We were honored to have special guests USA Karate Board Chair Elisa Au, her husband Sensei Driss El Mannani, and USA Karate CEO Michael Cain at our event.
Okinawa Team volunteers demonstrated what true teamwork really is! #DreamTeamOkinawa, you guys are awesome. We couldn’t have done this without you.
…and of course kudos to our event operation team: Laura Hansen and Arturo Fuentes - you guys rock! Countless hours of planning and preparation paid off.
Our Team already started planning for the next year and is looking forward to seeing all of you back in 2025!
Stay tuned for pictures and videos from the 2024 High Caliber Denver.
