Another successful year for #DreamTeamOkinawa at the Friendship Cup 2016 that was held on February 20th at the School of Mines in Golden, CO.
Okinawa Dojo students demonstrated strong karate spirit, sharp techniques and great team work! The bleachers were full of spectators, families and friends. Competition were happening simultaneously on 6 rings. The judging was fare and very professional.
Congratulations to Okinawa team on wining the most of gold and overall individual medals.

The Halloween kids’ party at the karate dojo was a spooktacular event filled with fun and excitement! The kids had a blast in their creative costumes, participating in fun games and activities. With plenty of treats, prizes, and laughter, it was a memorable way to celebrate the season while staying active and having fun. The dojo was filled with energy, and everyone left with big smiles and a few sweet surprises!

Spirit of Denver - October 26th, 2024
Our Competition Team members showcased their Kata and Kumite skills at the new local tournament, Spirit of Denver, organized by Sensei David Gould of Shotokan Karate Dojo @shotokankaratedojoco . Competitors had the chance to test their abilities in Kumite under two different rule sets—USA Karate (WKF) and AAU. The highlight of the event was the Rotational Team Kumite, which featured exciting, action-packed matches that kept the crowd entertained.
