What a success for Team USA at the Jr. Pan American Championships in Brazil!
This was my first time joining the USA Karate National Team as a Trainer, and I enjoyed every second of it. The teamwork of everyone involved was outstanding!
A big shout-out to Sasha @gerristonsasha and Natalie @nataliecolonnixon for expertly organizing everything—communication, scheduling, and more.
The coaches put in immense effort into training, preparing for matches, and guiding during the battles.
Trainers, it was challenging, but it was rewarding to do our job. Despite the hectic, hot, and less-than-pleasant conditions of the staging area, I believe we managed to keep all athletes warmed up and fully prepared to perform their best. I appreciate sharing this experience with you all.
Parents, your kindness, friendliness, and support truly helped the team feel united.
Athletes, whether you medaled or not, you played a crucial role in our overall success. You fought your hardest, bounced back when needed, and supported your teammates. And you achieved the most medals the USA has ever won at the Jr. Pan American Championships!!! Congratulations and keep up the hard work. The World Championships are just around the corner. Italy, here we come!
